"You will be amazed at what you will learn about yourself"

When I emailed Hilds 12 weeks ago and said to her “I’ve finally got fed up with myself and my excuses and need a serious kick up the butt to get back into shape”, I never really imagined that I would be where I am today. One of my major goals was “to be able to wear bathers… no… a bikini…to the beach instead of shorts and a t-shirt”. And I am very proud to say that I have achieved it! Please, if you are reading this and need motivation to make a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE to your emotional stability and attitude towards life, then JUST GO FOR IT. If I can do it with 2 small children, my own business, and some very bad eating habits then anyone can. You will be amazed at what you will learn about yourself on your journey.

Frustrated! This is where I was at. For the last 18 months my husband and I had been religiously getting up at 4.30 every morning to go to the gym and watching what we ate, and yet I still looked like one of those oompa loompas straight from the chocolate factory (all thighs). I remember when we had been going for only a few months and Jason dropped 10 kilos just like that. When I jumped on the scales, it showed that I had only lost .2 of a kilo. Not fair! I was a lot more careful with my meals than him and I was going for extra walks in the afternoons.

I would read everything I could get my hands on that might shine some light on what I was doing wrong. This was when I came across Lee Horton’s story about how she got herself into amazing shape in just 12 weeks. I had met Lee and her online trainer, Hilde at our gym not long before this. After many conversations with Hilde, I was satisfied that her approach to diet and exercise was very balanced and healthy; a lifestyle that I could incorporate for a lifetime. It wasn’t just a fad.

This was really important to me, because as a teenager through to my early thirties, I had spent about 15 years battling with anorexia and bulimia and being treated for the associated anxiety and depression. Often hospitalized, once for 6 months when my weight fell into the low 40 kilo’s.

I had won this fight and have maintained a healthy weight for over eight years now and with the amazing support of my husband, have learnt to just be myself, instead of trying to be what I thought others wanted me to be.

For me, doing this 12 week challenge was about doing something for myself. It was more about improving my fitness and wellbeing and changing my shape. Losing weight was never really my goal.

Once I made up my mind to start, nothing could stop me. Hilde had given me the plan. All I had to do was follow it. I learnt that the thing that was going to work for me was increasing the intensity of my cardio and weight sessions. Working harder, but for shorter periods of time. I loved the feeling of satisfaction I got when I was able to run up the hill, which is the lookout for our town or to be able to get through a spin class and know that I had put in my best effort.

I really enjoyed the eating plan as well. Yummy, healthy food that I love, every 2-3 hours to keep my energy levels up all day. I’ve never felt better. We would also treat ourselves to whatever we felt like on a Saturday night, which would usually be a nice bottle of red wine, pizza and chocolate or we would go out for dinner.

My weight dropped an average of ½ kilo a week, but I was more excited about the changes to my shape (no more oompa loompa thighs). I now feel comfortable in my own skin and love feeling fit. I feel better at 42 than I did at 22. Jason loves that I am much happier and positive as well.

I am so grateful that Hilde focused as much on what was going on in my head as she did the physical. She wouldn’t allow me to say negative things about myself and taught me to accept compliments with a simple “Thank-you”, instead of always replying with a counteractive, negative remark about myself.

I am a huge believer in always having goals, so completing this 12 week challenge has just been a springboard for me to achieve many more goals and to really live my best life: Healthy, fit and happy.

I have always been a very active person and as I have food allergies, I have been quite conscious of my diet. I was planning on going on a holiday to Thailand and wanted to shed a few kilos and tone up to look good in a bikini, so I started exercising and watching what I ate. A few kilos came off, however it seemed that although I was leading a fairly healthy lifestyle and exercising regularly I wasn’t achieving the results I was after.

A girlfriend of mine, Liss, did the program with Hilds and Cam a few years ago and her results were amazing! (Her success story is on the site also). I spoke to her and a few other mutual friends and got the low down on her program and she inspired me to get in touch with Hilde. Liss made sure I had no illusions of this being a fluffy program and that although there would be a lot of hard work, the benefits would be fantastic. AND SHE WAS RIGHT!

I have a hectic schedule so I liked the idea of a personalised program and not having to join a gym or do a group class etc. as after a big day at work I just wanted to do my workout and not have to drive home, just be there. The 12 week course seemed to be the best option for me. My motivation was high as I booked my tickets to Thailand and joined Get Active.

It was strange at first eating every couple of hours and I felt like it was too much, however when I started getting into the training it all balanced out and I was never hungry. I even had sweets like skinny cow ice creams that a few friends are now hooked on because of me hehe.

When I first joined I didn’t know how I could cope with my social lifestyle and cutting alcohol out. I soon found that I could go out and enjoy myself without drinking, which surprised my friends and family. Not wasting my weekends hung over was a great bonus and I figured that three months wasn’t that much in the whole scheme of things.

I’m not going to say that the program was easy, I often thought Hilde was straight out of Boot Camp. However this is exactly what I needed! Someone who wasn’t going to listen to my excuses, as if you are truly committed to something you should be prepared for all situations that are thrown your way.

The results are addictive and each week I would push myself a little harder to do an extra lap or build up the time in which I could jog. It was also a huge boost to receive praise from the General each week as I proudly submitted my progress

It definitely was worth all the sweat, aches and pains when I went down to the beach on my last day of my program and did my photo shoot. I knew that I had toned up, but it wasn’t until the wonderful Julie Vold showed me the photos that she had taken of me, that I had no problems with wearing a bikini on my holidays. To top it off I even went to a friend’s themed birthday party in a Halle Berry styled cat woman outfit! I don’t normally take compliments that well, however I appreciated that all my hard work had paid off and was glad to be acknowledged.

It has been really nice to have friends and family tell me that I have inspired them to get fitter and healthy. Perhaps some I have disheartened, when I tell them that there is no secret, it’s just exercising regularly and eating well, no pills or potions hehe.

I want to say a big thank you to Hilde for motivating me to see the big picture and giving me the confidence to achieve my goals. I loved the program and was addicted to the results! I learned a lot about me also, half way through the program I realised that the “bikini body” wasn’t really what I was after, but that it was a good stepping stone to help me find out what I really wanted. I want to be fit and toned and Get Active has given me the skills to continue with my new lifestyle choice.

Hilde & Cameron from Get Active Online were my saviours! They told me all about the 12 week challenge and how I could get a plan that was designed just for me. Up to this point I’d tried everything else, so I thought I might as well give it a go. I thought because of my age I wouldn’t be able to make any big changes, WOW was I wrong! Not only did I get a plan that I could fit into my life, they helped keep me motivated throughout and I have learnt so much more about nutrition. I no longer use the word “can’t” because I know “I CAN”. I never believed that I could look or feel this fantastic at 51!

Cassandra lost 15kg in just 14 weeks and 20cm of her belly! SENSATIONAL EFFORT!

Growing up, I was a competitive person who enjoyed all things sport. I played Netball, Gymnastics, Short distance running and anything else that was offered.

After marrying my husband and having 2 wonderful children, I suppose I let myself go. Why? I don’t really know. Life seemed so much easier just to ignore my health. Within a 2 year period to gained 20 kilos and I pretended not to see it. My clothes  increased by 2  sizes and my eating and drinking habits were terrible.

Every Monday I promised myself I would do something about it. This has been going on for about 12 months now.

In early June 12 2014, a flyer was in my letter box offering a 4 week boot camp – I instantly threw the flyer away as it was not my cup of tea nor did I think I was ready to emotionally to face my weight & eating problems.

A few days passed, another Monday promise broken and I was feeling like I needed help. So I contacted Get Active On Line and made an appointment to meet with Hilde. After an hour of talking about my goals we agreed on a 6 month PT plan.

14 weeks has now passed, a lot of blood sweat &  some words that should not be repeated and I am on my way. Hilde has helped me build strength, understand my body & what it needs to perform at its best. She has been such an awesome inspiration and has also become a trusted friend. All my friends and family see an amazing change in my weight, attitude & self happiness.  I plan to keep working hard, setting myself small achievable goals and maintaining my new healthy lifestyle. Thank you Hilde for your expertise, motivation & friendship.

Well what an interesting few years this has been for me, not only in my work life but more so in the area of my personal health.

Who would have thought that a change of jobs can cause so many health issues. I wouldn’t say that I had many compared to some, but even one is more than enough.

For most of my working life I have worked physically hard as well as being involved in regular outdoor activities ( rock climbing, bush walking and canoeing) to mention a few. My greatest passion is Landscape Photography so about  6 years ago I decided to make it my living. The idea was that it would be something that would allow me to work well past “conventional retirement age” for quite a lot of years. I am a self confessed workaholic as my daughter Hilde can confirm, and the thought behind the change was to take the physical load off my body as I am getting no younger.

Well what a surprise I got back in mid 2012 when my doctor told me that I had type 2 Diabetes. I wasn’t so much shocked by the diagnosis, as pissed off with myself for letting my health get to that stage. The down side of running a photography business is the amount of time spent sitting on your backside in front of a monitor. This involves office work, marketing the business or processing images.

So definitely not as physically hard, but no good for my health. Without the balance of physical exercise, which I never bothered with in my previous work role of being a hands on builder and with my recreational pursuits, I was fit as a “Mallee Bull”.  When all this occurred I was weighing in at about 100kg, ( love good food ) I needed to make some serious life style changes to take control of the diabetes and not let it advance too rapidly or better still bring it to a stand still.

So with the support of my family and Hilde ( Get Active Online ) I started looking at my diet which in general was pretty good, ( I was always very conscious of good nutrition ) . But even good nutrition is of no benefit if you eat like a horse. So that was the first of many changes, the quantity of food I was consuming for the activity I did these days. I also needed to incorporate more exercise.

This came about in the form of bike riding, I mentioned to Hilde that I have been interested in bike riding, mind you at that stage I hadn’t been on one for 40 years.

Well before I knew it a courier arrived at my business premise with a bike box, Cam’s original mountain bike. So I had no excuse for not giving it a go!

Within six months and with Hilde’s constant checking up on me I dropped a massive 25kg. ( mind you I looked like a sparrow ) went down to 75kg, but also lost a bit of muscle tone. Now that I have settled into a regular pattern of eating and exercise, have built up muscle again and my weight is a steady 78kg.
And yes, still madly riding the bike, mind you have progressed to a road bike and in 2013 rode with Hilde and Cam in the Cairns Cardiac Challenge. My doctor is wrapped in my diabetes condition which you could now classify as pre-diabetic.

Occasionally I still let loose and treat my self to some yummy food. But on the whole I am very greatful to my ongoing support from my family, particularly Hilde ( she thinks I should be running one of her Boot Camps ).

A Personal Journey

On the bottom of each and every email I send to the world is the signature, ‘A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step!’ I know that people don’t read it or take the time to consider just what the personal significance is of those words. I have done a thousand miles, and then some.

Ten years ago, I was an outwardly happy, bubbly person to the world. Inwardly I was a disappointed, self-conscious, desperate and overweight person hiding under layers of clothing. At 115kgs I was the heaviest I had ever been, wearing size 22 clothing and waiting to find that first step in the right direction. I believe that timing is everything, and my time had come and things were about to change.

My weight loss journey since then has been a lot of trial and error. I have tried diets, pills and even machines. It’s amazing how we try every quick fix before we finally go back to the basics of proper nutrition and challenging exercise. I was just on 82kgs when I decided to do a 12 week challenge with Hilde from www.getactiveonline.com over the Christmas break.

I had to debate all the arguments with people, ‘Why at Christmas?’ My response was simply that it was the best time of the year. Christmas is traditionally a time to put on a few kilos, not lose them, and then put on a few more. I’m tired of the vicious cycle.

I have been on the most gruelling journey this past 12 weeks. I have embraced the highs and learnt tough lessons from the lows. I finally reached my weight loss goal of more than 40kgs total lost, I have the body that I never imagined I could have, and I now wear a size 10. I am the fittest and healthiest I could ever have dreamed to be. Best of all, I have been able to walk around with my shoulders up and head held high. Post-Christmas, I am lighter and leaner.

I survived Christmas on a 12 week challenge, and look and feel awesome for all the hard work.

If you ever receive an email from me with those powerful words inscribed at the bottom ‘A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step!’ You know now, I have reached a summit… Is my journey over? Never, there are far too many more mountains to climb, obstacles to overcome and victories to be won!!

I had read about Get Active Online through Oxygen Magazine, and I really liked the sound of the programs and trainers! I originally did a 12 week program a while back, but found it really hard to maintain motivation towards the end of the program, my head just wasn’t in the right place and I had a lot of distractions going on in life at that time. After I slipped up, I found it really hard to get back on track, and instead of having one bad moment, I’d end up having a bad day… or two!

After years of binge eating, followed by the overwhelming guilt that accompanies it, I felt stuck in a cycle of bad eating habits. Being in the Army Reserves I was pretty good at maintaining some form of exercise, so in the end I tended to sit relatively stable at the same weight- not being able to lose any, but not really putting on too much either.

Irrespective, I was really unhappy! All I thought about was my weight! It consumed me!

For YEARS I not only didn’t feel comfortable in a bikini…I didn’t feel comfortable wearing pants! I felt so uncomfortable with myself that it affected my relationship with my boyfriend. With him going away for 8 months with the Army, I decided it was a good time to start looking after myself a bit better and trying to get on top of some of these issues. I got myself mentally prepared for the 12 week challenge and was determined this time to not let anything get in the way.

The second time round with the Results Program felt completely different. I have heard this word ‘consistency’ thrown around, but I didn’t realise how relevant it was! There was more than one or two times (that’s for sure!) that I slipped up and ate chocolate or some other thing I wasn’t supposed to, but I never let it dictate the next step! I’d give myself a clean slate and get right back on track. I honestly think the biggest tip anyone can give you is CONSISTENCY! No matter what happens, just get right back on track. In the past I used to try and counteract my binges with these extreme plans for twice/day exercise and strict eating, it was an inevitable failure!

Throughout this program, when times were tough I would think only about the day I was in, and getting through that single day, when I had done that successfully, the next day would be the same! Breaking it down into manageable chunks made it a lot less daunting and SO much easier to get through!

I feel so much more control now in terms of my eating and exercise, and that’s something I used to lack- I felt completely out of control of my own behaviours, and it’s an awful feeling! Now, I get up and it is an automatic behaviour to do some form of exercise first thing in the morning. If I don’t, I feel sluggish and lethargic. It is an awesome feeling to take charge and feel strong mentally and physically!

I started out my program quite determined to lose the few kilos that I had put on. Although I was by no means overweight, I just didn’t like what I saw in the mirror and my self-esteem was on the decline.

I have always been very motivated in the gym and loved running but I had become bored with exercise, was lacking any structure and was eating food I normally didn’t even enjoy. I decided to take control, set a goal and get a personal trainer – someone that could tell me I was going off track when I slipped up, someone to answer to and best of all, someone to do all the thinking for me. That’s when I found Hilde.

The meal plans she made for me were perfect. They were balanced, there was no ridiculous deprivation of particular foods, it was enough to sustain my energy and it wasn’t constricting. The workouts were effective, tough but realistic and I immediately saw results. No kidding, IMMEDIATELY.

Not only did I start to get back into training hard at the gym and eating right, but I set myself some affirmations to change the way my mind thought about food and more importantly the way I thought about myself. About a month in to my program, I came across a competition in Oxygen magazine for their cover girl and decided that moment that it would be my ultimate goal. I was going to get into my bikini and let everyone see…a scary thought and not one I would have normally entertained. I got through my program and had the photos booked and ready to go.

I won’t lie, it was by no means an easy road. The hardest part for me was staying away from all the delicious home baked sweets and deserts when I was out at a restaurant. But, I am so proud of myself and the results I achieved and am now training to enter the INBA Miss Figure competition next year….something I would NEVER have had the confidence to do before I began my training with Hilde.

After years of over indulgences and very little exercise at only 33 years old it was already starting to catch up with me. For the past few years I have been suffering from depression and as such formed terrible sleeping and eating patterns. As a mother of three with a husband that works away for weeks at a time, a good sleep was something I could only hope for, so when my Dr encouraged exercise as a way to help my depression, I thought “add that onto the list”, I was always busying looking after the kids not one to sit around but exercise for me consisted of running in from outside the house to answer the phone and even that left me breathless! Sleep deprived and lethargic I began using food to try and make myself feel better and it wasn’t good food I was reaching for but anything high in sugar and fat, anything to give me some energy to cope with the daily demands of raising three kids and running a household. Although instead of making me feel better I ended up feeling worse and even more depressed, it was a vicious merry go round that I couldn’t seem to get off.

The turnaround came after opening up to a close friend of mine who runs her own online personal training business http://www.getactiveonline.com. I explained how I was feeling and she encouraged me to try a 12 week program. She told me I would be amazed at just how good you will feel. It helped knowing how much exercise has helped Hilde fight off depression and realizing I wasn’t the only one out there who suffers from it, I actually started to believe that maybe I could actually feel better and it was time for me to finally do something for myself!

So with the support of my amazing husband and three beautiful kids I started a program, I was both excited but also really nervous about not wanting to let anyone down, could I really do this? Could I finish what I started? But with the help of Hilde & constant support and encouragement along the way I quickly learnt some good eating habits and exercise patterns that fitted in with my busy schedule of raising a family. It wasn’t long before all of those negative thoughts became positive ones and I realized how important exercise was, not only for my health & fitness but for my mind! I couldn’t believe how much better I was feeling.

There were times when it was hard to keep going, I got sick, then the kids got sick and it all seemed too hard but with Hilde’s reassurance that no one is perfect and it’s about doing the best you can each day I just kept going. I noticed that as I changed and became happier so did my kids and husband, I finally realized that it’s not selfish to look after yourself and taking some time for me actually benefited the whole family.

I now have become a great role model for my children, we all eat healthier and exercise regularly. You see it’s not just about how you look but how you feel and no new outfit or chocolate donut could ever make me feel like I do now! If you have any doubt whatsoever like I did and think you can’t do it, you are so wrong anybody can do it, you just need to make a decision and do it, it really is life changing. If you need help, get an online trainer, get your families support and believe you can do it. I now not only have a healthy body but I also have a healthy mind!

I look back on old photos and I feel sorry for the person in those photos, but that person is me.  I used to make excuses for my clothes getting bigger, that my diet wasnt really that bad or that I just didn’t have time to exercise. As a result I ended up the heaviest I have ever been at 123.7kg. I just kept putting off doing something about it as I knew what I would need to do to and I was ashamed that I had done this to myself.  Then in June 2010 my 17 year old nephew was killed in a car accident, due to two other people drag racing.  He had always been a great sports person and young fit and healthy. It took some time to come to terms with his death and on the 14  February 2011 I woke up  and decided it was time to do something rather than just thinking about it and that I was just going to have to draw on inner strength and commit to working hard.  The thing I dreaded the most was having to get on the scales as it had been over three years since I had gone near scales because I didn’t want to know my weight (if you don’t know you can deny)   I did not initially set any goals just to lose weight and be consistent and watch my nutrition, I knew from the past what to do just needed to do it.  My husband started at the gym too which helped a lot.’I started doing a workout whether it was doing weights or a class at least five times a week.I worked out consistently and watched what I was eating and by 29 September 2011 I was down to 105Kg and was really starting to notice the change and started feeling stronger and more determined.I then started to plateau and managed to get down to 98.7kg but was getting kind of stuck not really knowing where to go next, debating whether my nutrition was really as good as it should be It was then that a gym instructor I knew some time ago had her picture in a magazine for Hilds get active online ad and I had once done a 12 week challenge and knew I could work hard and that maybe it was time to get some help to go the next step So I signed up and Hilds sent me the information and it was nice to see that I had been on the right track and that I just needed to make some adjustments. As the 12 weeks went along I found my mindset changing and I would push myself harder each week as I was seeing results again.  At the beginning I set a goal of getting to 85kg, which at the time I thought would be impossible, but as the weeks progressed I became more determined to make it a reality. I did reach my goal and stepped on the scales and the end of week 12 and it was 85kg, felt very proud of myself.  This took my total weight loss to 38.6kg. I am still working with Hilds as my next goal is 80 kg which for me will put me into my healthy weight range which is what I want I want to feel fit and healthy. I know it is not easy to get started when you have so much weight to lose, but just starting somewhere is better than not starting at all, as any exercise is going to help and eat well, just start by making a few small changes at a time. The more you stick to it the less you want to eat the bad things and the more you want to exercise as you just start to feel alive again.I now say I have got rid of my weight and I have no intentions of finding it again.

I joined get active with a goal in mind to basically get fit and lose a few kilos in the process, Hilde gave me the best advice and was there throughout the whole process of my 12 week challenge, the main thing for me was the food I was eating everyday. But Hilde was able to give me the insight I needed, I was able to acheive a more desired image of myself, I have more confidents in the way I handle myself now and the whole process has helped me in other aears of my life, be able to push myself further now feels amazing with a better understanding of food and exercising. I would like to say a huge thankyou to Hilde and my husband and kids (who had to eat every healthy dinner I made) for all their support, I am so glad that I was able to do the journey with them. Thank you

I joined get active with the goal to shed a couple of kilos and to become a bit fitter and healthier before my 30th birthday. I wasn’t terribly overweight therefore I really only planned to tone up and lose 5-6kg.

As I am working in a busy Cafe/Restaurant, exercise was usually the last thing on my mind after being on my feet all day. Also a serious back injury I suffered 5 years ago has held me back from any kind of running and from a number of exercises doomed to have too much impact on my spine.  My biggest hurdle though was my eating. When Hilde pointed out to me what I was doing to my body by feeding it the kind of food I did I was shocked. I never realised how bad my nutrition actually was because I always tried to eat a healthy diet, but I really only had 1 decent meal per day and was snacking away on junk food and coffee throughout my day. In other words I was playing games with my metabolism that I wasn’t going to win.

I decided that if I was going to do a program such as the 12 week challenge it would be all or nothing. From day 1 I made some massive changes to my everyday life and cleaned up my nutrition. I never skipped another meal and cut out all alcohol, sweets and treats from my diet. I had the luxury of my own weight bench and gym set up in my garage at home, therefore I could do my workouts whenever it suited me and wasn’t restricted by gym opening hours.  I also started running, which was something I was never good at in the past and what doctors and physiotherapists doubted I would ever be able to do without being in pain. It was definitely hard to get

started, I struggled to last for 1km at the beginning but I didn’t give up. It only took around 2-3 weeks and I was able to last longer and to run a lot further. I began to feel more comfortable and challenged myself by climbing up hills and dirt tracks running between 8 and 10km almost every day.

By week 5 I had already lost over 5kg and my diet and exercise regime was stricter than ever before in my life. At that point I realised that I could do a lot more than I originally aimed for, especially knowing that I was not even half way through the program yet. I had not weighed less than 60kg for about 15 years and didn’t think I was ever going to be able to drop that much, but the longer I kept going the more weight came off. At the same time my friends and co-workers started to realise that I was going through some major changes in my general attitude and of course in my appearance. Most people around me were very supportive but I struggled at times with the fact that not drinking alcohol seemed to be a problem for some of my mates.  It made me realize even more that I didn’t need the alcohol to go out, socialise and to have a fantastic time and that I had to stop worrying about what people were thinking about my choices and how they were judging me; friends or not, this was my journey, not theirs.

My determination to go through the remainder of the 12 weeks was getting stronger and stronger every week. Of course not everything went by plan or perfect (working in a Cafe that serves cakes, coffee and ice cream has put my will power to the test more than once) but being determined was going hand in hand with being terribly stubborn to achieve my goals. Towards the end of the program I started picking on bits and pieces of cakes and ice cream and I felt guilty, so guilty… As if I was cheating on myself! I started pushing myself harder during my training sessions to make up for those naughty slip ups but finally got over it and was back on track for a nearly perfect final 2 weeks.

By the end of the program I had lost 10cm of my waist, 12cm of my hips, 9cm of each thigh and an unbelievable 10kg of bodyweight.

What started out as a sudden idea to sign up for a program that hopefully would lead to an improvement of my fitness and appearance, turned out to be a complete transformation of my body and lifestyle. The fact that I didn’t have a lot of expectations entering this challenge was probably my biggest advantage.  I wasn’t running after an unachievable idea of the perfect body because I never believed my body was ever meant to be skinny. I just took every day as a new day, every workout as a new challenge and every Monday weigh in as a little victory for myself.

A big Thank you has to go to Hilde, I wouldn’t have been able to do it without your fantastic support and your program.

I decided to take on the 12 week Challenge with a friend.  Before deciding to do the challenge I was training for a full and a half marathon but unfortunately got sick and was told I could not train for these events, although at the time I was too sick to do any training.
We found Hilds website through a forum on the net and all the success stories where inspiring not to mention how fantastic Hilds looks.  I actually wanted to come out looking like Peta Robinson from the website!!!
I did 11 weeks as the 12th week fell on a family trip to Bali.  I told Hilds all about my illness and she created a training program around my needs.  Because I was a runner I was not very toned so I was keen to tone up and be healthy again
I stuck to the diet plan and started doing heavy weights with little cardio for the first six weeks to see how I handled it.  I got stronger and fitter and was feeling healthy again.
As you can see I didn’t come out looking like Peta Robinson but I did tone up and I have my health back.  I feel now that I can continue on this path to become even more toned and am looking forward to the challenge.
If you are stuck in a rut or are constantly going to the gym and not seeing any results I recommend you try one of Hilds programs.  Everything is tailored to you personally not just a template that so many of the larger companies provide.
Hilds provides ongoing email support and the Facebook page is great for support from other women also completing programs.
Take the plunge you won’t be sorry.
