So this will be me in another 8 weeks!
Can’t believe I’m soon to be 40. I seriously don’t feel like I’m about to turn 40, maybe it’s time to get more sensible, ha, ha. Never!
Anyway I’ve been plodding away this year, slowly moving along. I haven’t been going backwards but I’ve been moving forward so slowly it will take me another year to notice any big changes. My life has been and will continue to be quite crazy, my time for me is limited with trying to build a business, work a million hours and be a Mum to a non-stop 5 year old. Time for me and my wonderful husband is kind of non-existent. Each week we promise ourselves that we will allocate more time to ourselves but it just doesn’t seem to happen. For me today is kinda like crunch time. I’ve got just 8 weeks before I turn 40 and all I honestly want is to feel awesome! I know I can do it as I was in a similar position before this photo shoot with 8 weeks lead time.
So today I’ve done the big food shop and got organised for the coming week. My biggest issue lately has been not having the accountability I need. So here goes –
Training for the coming week –
3 x Weights
3 x Cardio – 2 x Sprint & 1 x Steady State
10,000 steps per day.
All very achievable.
Week 1 – Sugar/Carb depletion
Week 1 is actually the tightest week of all as it’s all about getting rid of all sugar & processed carbs. No alcohol, sugar or treats. This isn’t for ever but just to get me on the right track.
I’ll check in later in the week and let you know how I’m going. Each week I’ll post my weekly results & details on training and nutrition to help others out there as well.
