– Lose 10kg (5kg to reach pre-pregnancy weight)
– Lose 60cm from various sites
– Run 10km
– ENJOY THE JOURNEY, BE CONSISTENT, TRAIN HARD, EAT WELL BUT STILL ENJOY THE PROCESS
Another week down and slowly getting there! After my visit to
Adelaide I returned home with a bit of a cold so training was a bit
light on. I have learnt to rest up when I’m sick rather than push
through. So most of the week I was out of action with my training but I
did at least manage to eat well.
TRAINING LAST WEEK:
1 X 40 MINUTE JOG
1 X 50 MINUTE PRAM WALK
1 X WEIGHTS SESSION
After a couple of average days in Adelaide the rest of the week was
great. I seem to be getting into a good routine when I’m home although
not sure if it’s enough to make some big changes. I have been making
progress although I might need to get a bit stricter with my nutrition. I
suppose the key is to find the right balance between my nutrition and
still 100% breastfeeding and ensuring I’m eating enough to support this.
WEIGHT LOSS: 1kg (over the two weeks) – 6.9kg TO GO (1.9kg to pre-pregnancy weight)
LOST 4CM – 40.5CM TO GO
HARDEST THINGS SO FAR:
– Wondering if my stomach will ever be the same again! Normally I
lose fat off my waist first although it seems to be the place that isn’t
really budging much. This is pretty frustrating as it means lots of my
clothes still don’t fit around my waist, well they do but there’s a bit
of a muffin top going on and I’m not really into that!
Realising that Breastfeeding isn’t going to make the weight drop
off. I’m exclusively breastfeeding right now and I still need to put in a
pretty good effort in the gym and really watch my nutrition to ensure
things keep moving.
So another week down and another small step closer to reaching my goals.
This week is off to a great start, feeling good, training hard and eating well!
Hope everyone else out there is having a fabulous week.
