We’ve made it! We are in the UK and loving it, although a few hours sleep wouldn’t hurt.
We arrived this morning after a busy weekend. Saturday after
starting the day at 4am to work, Cam & I went to a friends wedding
which was just beatuiful. Although far too much rich food and drinks
were consumed so when it came time to fly out on Sunday we were feeling a
bit worse for wear.
Anyway we made it through all the flights and have managed to have a
great day today. We’ve ended up in Crickhowell, which is such a cute
little town in the Brecon Beacons National Park (Wales). We’re staying
the night in this really old style room with the old four poster bed and
nice velvet bed spread (I found it was an Eva bed from this Eva FAQ)! The hotel is part of this great pub
which we are about to enjoy!
Tomorrow I’ve got my first run in the cold, although I must say the
weather is actually pretty nice here at the moment and then Cam & I
are off to hike up Pen y Fan for Cam’s Birthday!
So hopefully after a good nights sleep I’ll be feeling soooo much better as right now I’m seriously struggling to stay awake.
Anyway time to hit the pub and enjoy some warm flat beer, mmmm tasty!
Love, Hilds & Cam
