I’ve been lacking a bit of energy this week, I think I might have
picked up a bug from some dodgy water we drank while bushwalking.
So after having severe DOMS at the start of the week I’ve had to
cram a lot of training into the latter part of the week due to not being
able to walk on Monday or Tuesday!
I’ve still got one running session left to do tomorrow so I’m just
hoping I pull up ok. Then I’m flying out for 10 days, I’ll be in Cairns
for a few days (Liss, if you’re reading this would love to catch up for a
walkntalk!) and then I’ve got a 5 day trip all over the countryside!
I’m just getting myself all packed and have made sure I can fit in all
of my running sessions while I’m away!
I’ve got a 3km time trial to do so I’ve packed my little GPS so I can mark a route out wherever I am.
Today was the first day that i really started to doubt myself and
wonder how the hell I am seriously going to do this Marathon? Anyway I’m
not thinking to much about the end goal but just doing what needs to be
done in the meantime and hoping it all falls into place.
The exciting thing is that I managed to get the time off over the
Adelaide Half Marathon, so I’ll be heading down at the end of August to
do it. It will be my first ever race and I’m really excited about it.
Plus the fact that I’m organsing a girly night afterwards and will get
to see all my family and friends in Adealaide.
Anyway time to get off the computer, I better spend some time with my gorgeous hubby before I fly out.
