Well I’m back home again and what a great feeling it is. I survived my 6 day
trip and it actually all went really well. I ended up quite busy as I
had some new clients start up(hope you are all going well!) and with
doing some big flying I didn’t leave much free time.

I still managed to get in all my runs and am feeling really good about where I’m at.

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about what makes people reach their
goals. Why do some people achieve what they set out to whereas others
never seem to make any changes. After working with a variety of people
now I’ve discovered that there are a couple of major factors that
contribute to your success.


So many of you may think that’s it’s all about the training or
nutrition whereas the truth of it is that it’s more about our minds and
how we think about things that really makes the big difference. For sure
you need to eat well and regularly exercise although more importantly

So many people lose weight only to put it all back on again, why?
Well they haven’t worked on changing their self perception, they don’t
really believe that the deserve to be fit and healthy. So subconsciously
they go back to their old ways and slowly regain all the weight. So
after months of getting rid of it they end up putting it all back on
only to end up feeling worse.

As an Online Personal Trainer my goal is not just to help you lose
the weight, feel great and reach your goals but more importantly learn
how to maintain your new body and help you create permanent healthy
habits. I’ve learnt that the only way I can do this is to spend as much
time working with clients to ensure they change their mind and beliefs
about themselves as well as their physcial habits.

This is where the support aspect comes in. Some people feel awkward
about seeking support but it’s that very aspect that can get you to
finally change your body and reach your goals. Why not get help when you
know it will help you reach your goals?

When I’m embarking on a big challenge I seek out support, I tell
everyone what I’m doing and make sure that I have someone I can express
my concerns and doubts with throughout my journey.

Everyone knows about my Marathon effort this year, so I have no choice but to do it!

So if you are ever struggling or starting to doubt yourself, know
that this is normal. Use your resources, email us or call upon your
support team to help you reach your goals.

And most importantly start telling yourself that YOU WILL REACH YOUR GOALS! If you don’t believe in yourself, who will?

Anyway I’m off to enjoy the rest of my Sunday, my 1:20min run (sorry
slow jog) is done for the day and I’m going to enjoy some sunshine,
he,he (sorry to all those people living down south and freezing your
butt off!).
