Isn’t is amazing how Christmas festivities start about a month before
Christmas (if not earlier) and by Boxing day it’s all over and everyone
seems so exhausted and glad for it to finished for another year! Don’t
get me wrong I love Chrissy but it just seems to get more hyped up every
year and start earlier and earlier!

So now it’s all over how are you feeling? Did you have a fit &
healthy Chrissy or did one day turn into a month of Chrissy treats?

I had a week of relaxing and enjoying all the Chrissy goodies and
it’s left me feeling a little lethargic and worse for wear! So Boxing
Day was my cut off, I made myself get back on track today, no more
sweets or alcohol for me for a while! I’ve learnt that as much as I love
my sweets I just love feeling fit and healthy so much more. You really
notice how good you feel when you eat well and exercise regularly. It’s
great now that I know how good it feels to eat well that it doesn’t take
me long to actually WANT to get back on track!!!!!!

So if you’re letting your Christmas festivities linger on for a bit
too long or using it as an excuse to pig out, remind yourself how good
you will feel once you get back on track. Remember the first day or two
is always the hardest but you’ll be feeling great again in no time!
