I had not weighed less than 60kg for about 15 years and didn’t think I was ever going to be able to drop that much, but the longer I kept going the more weight came off.
By the end of the program I had lost 10cm of my waist, 12cm of my hips, 9cm of each thigh and an unbelievable 10kg of bodyweight.
What started out as a sudden idea to sign up for a program that hopefully would lead to an improvement of my fitness and appearance, turned out to be a complete transformation of my body and lifestyle.

There were times when it was hard to keep going, I got sick, then the kids got sick and it all seemed too hard but with Hilde’s reassurance that no one is perfect and it’s about doing the best you can each day I just kept going. I noticed that as I changed and became happier so did my kids and husband, I finally realized that it’s not selfish to look after yourself and taking some time for me actually benefited the whole family.
The meal plans she made for me were perfect. They were balanced, there was no ridiculous deprivation of particular foods, it was enough to sustain my energy and it wasn’t constricting. The workouts were effective, tough but realistic and I immediately saw results. No kidding, IMMEDIATELY.
In 2008 I started Get Active Online, which was born from pure passion of wanting to help other women lose weight and feel amazing.
Since then I’ve helped thousands of women around the world through my online coaching programs, our Smithfield Bootcamp and Personal Training studio.
I loved helping others feel great about themselves but recently something happened that made me realise the true benefit of a healthy diet and exericse.
At 44, I was going along leading quite a crazy life, juggling work, family and somewhere in there trying to find time for me. I was proud of being superwoman and rushing around like crazy.
That was until I found a lump which turned out to be Breast Cancer.
In an instant my life was turned upside down and I had absolute clarity on what is important.
My health, family and friends.
Having Breast Cancer was tough, but it was a big wake-up call and reminder that exercise and eating well isn’t just about losing weight or looking good. IT’S ESSENTIAL FOR OUR HEALTH.
Due to my cancer treatment I was also faced with so many of the menopausal symptoms that women struggle with. I started researching the impact that diet and exercise has on managing menopause. The exciting part is that it’s HUGE and from it, I developed The Menopause Diet by Get Active.
I haven’t opened up Personal Training slots for a few years, however my passion for helping women, especially women who are 40+ has been reignited. I know the impact exercise and nutrition can have and I want you to experience that too.
I want you to realise that you can feel BETTER AS YOU AGE.

Nutrition coaching
Full access to our 8 Week New Year, New You Coaching program incorporating aspects of our popular 12 Week Body Transformation and The Menopause Diet. You’ll recieve a full nutrition program along with daily lessons and tasks to keep you on track.
