So after deciding to stop all coffee, diet softdrinks, artificial
sweetners and additives (processed food!), I’ve had the biggest
headache! I expected a headache but it’s never nice when it just won’t
go away! So yesterday arvo it hit me, I was flying down to Sydney and
just had the biggest headache, it didn’t seem to matter how much water I
drank it just didn’t want to go away. I arrived in Canberra last night
and still had a headache, woke up this morning still had a headache!
Obviously my body is going through a bit of a detox at the moment which
normally happens when you abruptly stop having certain foods/drinks etc.
Anyway I’m taking it as a good sign and just persevering for the next
few days (it has to get better).
This morning I woke up feeling very average and nearly didn’t train
but I just knew that the idea of not training would make me feel worse.
So I put on the gym gear and contemplated it for a while and finally
dragged myself down to the gym. I managed a short session of an Interval
on the Stepper and another 10 minutes on the treadmill. So after 30
minutes I was done and gues what? My headache has gone, yehaa!!! Hope it
stays that way. Anyway gotta fly the bus will be here soon and I’m off
to Melbourne, then Adelaide and end up in Perth!
