Well that’s what I’m telling myself anyway! I’ve been busting my butt all
week, had some awesome training sessions and have been pretty spot on
with my nutrition and my reward is a higher number on that silly metal
contraption called the scale!!!!!!

Lucky for me I know well enough that the scale is not the best
measure of progress so I’ve taken my measurments and they are slowly
going down! Tomorrow I will check my body fat to see if that’s moving in
the right direction to. I know I feel stronger and can feel changes
happening although I also know my body and it takes a good 4-6 weeks of
consistency to even notice much of a drop in the scale. So if I ever
here anyone whinging about ONLY losing half a kilo I’d love you to step
in my shoes for a while! I’d love to lose half a kilo a week but my body
doesn’t work that way and it takes a while for the scale to reflect the
progress I’m making. I do know I’m lifting heavier weights and really
pushing myself. I actually trained with Cam this morning and managed
some personal bests and the good thing is we didn’t even kill each
other. We don’t usually train together as we are both a bit stubborn and
it’s not a good combination in the weights room, but today was a good
day and followed by an awesome Spin class I’m ready for my well deserved
