It's freezing down in Adelaide, so I'm wearing a tea pot warmer! END OF WEEK 4 – POST BABY BLITZ

GOALS FOR 12 WEEK POST BABY BLITZ CHALLENGE

– Lose 10kg (5kg to reach pre-pregnancy weight)

– Lose 60cm from various sites

– Run 10km

– ENJOY THE JOURNEY, BE CONSISTENT, TRAIN HARD, EAT WELL BUT STILL ENJOY THE PROCESS

Overall Week 4 was just ok. Training wise I was pretty happy as my
treadmill got repaired and I got right back into my running. I’ve
actually already achieved one of my goals and have jogged 10km!!! It was
on the treadmill as it’s hard to get out on the road these days
although I was still pretty happy with myself. It took me 62 minutes and
I was pretty hot and sweaty by the end of it. Luckily Braden was a good
boy and let me fit in the whole 10km! Nutrition was really good up
until our trip to Adelaide. I did take all my breakfasts and some snacks
although most lunch and dinners were out and weren’t the best. I did
manage to fit in one run while I was down there and did 40 minutes along
the Glenelg foreshore. The rest of the time it just rained and I wasn’t
quite keen enough to get out there when it was pouring with rain and
freezing (I was expecting nice Summer weather although it didn’t
happen).

So it seems I’ve developed a bit of a pattern of either having my
nutrition spot on or my training. Now it’s time to put the two
together!!!!

TRAINING LAST WEEK:

1 x RPM CLASS

1 X BODY PUMP CLASS

1 X PT SESSION WITH CAM (Resistance Training and Cardio)

1 x 10km JOG

1 X 50 MINUTE JOG

1 X 40 MINUTE JOG

NUTRITION:

Great up until our trip away and then it slowly got worse. I
actually don’t feel too bad but I know there were a lot of extras that
crept in and I could have done better. I don’t know what it is but
whenever I go back to see the family and friends I tend to eat more of
all the old comfort foods, plus it’s usually cold and my usual foods
just don’t seem as appealing. So after a couple of days of indulging I
actually loved getting home and having a big fat salad for dinner!!!

WEIGHT LOSS: No idea, didn’t weigh in this week as I was away.

Hardest things so far –

Being as strict as I know I need to be. I’m making progress but know
I could be doing better. One month down and it’s time to knuckle down!

BEING CONSISTENT with both training and nutrition!

Overall feeling pretty good as all my old clothes are starting to
fit again. I reckon in another couple of weeks I should be back into
most things.

Have a great week! Hilds
